Malicious USBs dropped in Vic letterboxes

Police are warning people in Melbourne to avoid plugging unsolicited and potentially harmful USBs into their computers.

Corrupt and harmful USB flash drives are being dropped off in letterboxes in Melbourne.

Police are warning that the unmarked USBs could be "extremely harmful" and should not be plugged into computers.

They have been left in letterboxes in Pakenham, with victims experiencing serious issues including fraudulent media streaming service offers.
