An 81-year-old man has died in hospital after being hit by a car in Adelaide.
He was crossing a road at Mile End just before 5pm on Thursday when he was hit by a Nissan sedan.
The Torrensville man was taken to hospital where he died overnight.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash and have asked for help from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the Nissan before the crash.
His death takes the South Australian road toll to 63, 10 less than at the same time last year.
