Man arrested over Sydney glassing

A Sydney man will face court charged over an attack at a Punchbowl club where a man was hit with a glass bottle.

A Sydney man has been arrested and charged over an attack at a Punchbowl club where a man was hit with a glass bottle.

Police were called to the club about 1am on Sunday where they found a 38-year-old man had suffered a fractured arm and eye socket in the alleged assault.

After investigation, officers arrested a 37-year-old man at his Bass Hill home on Monday.

He's been bailed to appear at Bankstown Local Court on January 28, charged with causing previous bodily harm to person with intent.
