Man charged after WA police chase

A 33-year-old Perth man has been charged with a number of offences after a police chase in bushland.

A police dog has nabbed a suspected drug dealer who fled after his motorbike became stuck in bushland in Western Australia.

Mako found the motorcyclist shortly after he'd fled when his bike became stuck near Rochingham Road Naval Base, south of Perth, at 9.30pm on Tuesday during a police chase.

The suspected dealer surrendered without incident.

A search of the man turned up amphetamine and cash, and the bike was found to have been stolen.

A 33-year-old Bedfordale man has been charged with steal motor vehicle, possess amphetamine with intent to supply or sell and traffic offences.
