A 30-year-old man has been charged with murder following the stabbing death of a Melbourne man.
A warrant was issued for Vatthana Chounlamountry's arrest following an incident at a house in St Albans last Tuesday.
Homicide detectives and officers with the Special Operations Group said they arrested Chounlamountry about 12.30pm (AEST) on Sunday in Sunshine and charged him with one count of murder.
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
