About 40 grams of the drug and a .22 calibre shortened rifle were allegedly found in the 24-year-old's car after he was stopped for a breath test at Nowra, on the NSW south coast, in the early hours of Saturday.

He has been charged with several weapon, drug and traffic offences and was due to appear at Nowra Local Court on Saturday afternoon.
