A man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after another man suffered a suspected fractured skull in an assault on Palm Island in North Queensland.
Police were called to an address on the island on Sunday night to find an unconscious 40-year-old man who was taken to hospital in Townsville.
A 32-year-old man has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and is due to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
