Man charged with child sex offences

A 78-year-old South Australian man has been charged with child sex offences dating back to 1970.

A 78-year-old man has been charged with child sex offences alleged to have occurred over a period of almost 40 years.

The Yorke Peninsula man has been charged with six counts of indecent assault and with inciting a child to commit an indecent act.

Police will allege the offences occurred between 1970 and 2008.

The man has been bailed to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court on October 26.
