A man has died in hospital after falling from the roof of a car in a Melbourne driveway, with a woman being questioned by police.

A man is dead after falling from the roof of a car in a suburban Melbourne driveway.

The 24-year-old died in hospital on Monday after the fall overnight at Springvale South.

A 26-year-old woman, believed to be known to the man, was arrested at the scene and is being questioned, police said.

Investigations are ongoing.
