Police are appealing for a 35-year-old man to come forward following the fatal stabbing of a Bundaberg man.

A 24-year-old was driven to Bundaberg Base Hospital after a disturbance at Cummins Rd on Friday night, but later died from his injuries.

Police now want to speak to a tanned, dark-haired 35-year-old man, who may be with a 32-year-old woman.

A second man who was treated for head injuries has been released from hospital.
