Man dies in motorcycle accident in NSW

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a motorcyclist on the NSW south coast.

A man has died in a single motorcycle accident on the NSW south coast.

The man crashed into a tree on Greville Avenue at Sanctuary Point about 7.15pm (AEDT) on Sunday and died at the scene despite the efforts of police and ambulance paramedics to revive him.

The man, who is yet to be formally identified, is believed to be a 43-year-old from St George Basin, police said.
