A man has died in a house fire in the Queensland outback town of Mt Isa.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 6am on Saturday to find the home fully ablaze.
A search of the property after the fire was extinguished led to the discovery of the man's body.
A statement from Queensland Police said no-one else was inside at the time.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the blaze as well as that of a fire at a home in Brisbane's southwest on Friday night which resulted in the death of an elderly man.
