Man dies while at wife's Sydney grave

An 86-year-old man has died while visiting his wife's Sydney grave after his car rolled onto him on Sunday morning.

An elderly man has died in a car accident while visiting his wife's grave in Sydney's west.

The 86-year-old was with his son at Rookwood Cemetery when he fell in front of their car, which rolled over him about 11am on Sunday.

The son performed CPR until paramedics arrived, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police remain at Penola Street at the cemetery to continue investigations.
