Man flees on bike after brothel robbery

Police are hunting for a man who robbed a brothel in Sydney's west on Sunday night and fled on a bicycle.

A man has robbed a brothel and fled on a bicycle.

Police say the man, aged about 25 to 30, asked to use the bathroom of the brothel on Cowper Street in Granville in Sydney's west on Sunday night.

A male employee, 61, told him where it was and was threatened when the man returned.

He demanded cash, then escaped on a bicycle along Cowper Street.

The man is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 180cm tall, of slim build, with short, dark hair and no facial hair.

The male employee was unharmed.
