Man found with snakes, drugs and a gun

A 22-year-old man who was found in possession of drugs, a firearm and number of caged snakes in Sydney's southwest will face court.

A man has been charged after being found with a cage full of snakes, drugs and a pistol in Sydney's southwest.

The 22-year-old's car was stopped on Monday at Spring Farm and police seized 3.5 grams of crystal methylamphetamine and a pistol. A home was later searched, where more ice, ecstasy, ammunition and the caged snakes were found.

The man was charged with numerous drug and firearm offences and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday.
