Man hit and killed in rural NSW

A teenage pedestrian has been hit and killed near Forbes, in the NSW central west.

A 19-year-old man has been killed after being hit by a ute in regional NSW.

The man was struck by the ute near Forbes in the state's central west early on Sunday, police say.

Paramedics were called and treated the man, who died at the scene, while the 51-year-old ute driver was taken to Forbes Hospital for mandatory testing.

The fatality comes after a woman believed to be in her mid-20s died when she was struck by a minibus in Crows Nest on Sydney's lower north shore.
