Man hit by train at Marrickville station

A 41-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a train in Sydney's inner west.

A man is in a critical condition after being hit by a train in Sydney's inner west.

Police believe the man, 41, was crossing the tracks between platform one and two at Marrickville station when he was struck by the train just before 1pm.

He suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
