Man identified in SA river death mystery

Police have identified a man whose body was found in an Adelaide river but the investigation into how he died continues.

The body of a man found in an Adelaide river has been identified as a 53-year-old homeless man.

Police on Saturday released a computer-generated image of the man found two days before in the River Torrens - they confirmed he had been identified as a man of "no fixed address" on Sunday.

His death is being treated as suspicious and police are still investigating how he died.
