Man killed in Melbourne shooting

Police are questioning three people after the suspected murder of a man in Melbourne's west.

Three people are being questioned over the suspected murder of a man in west Melbourne.

A man was found dead with a gun shot wound to his chest in a Melton South home on Saturday.

Homicide Squad detectives are interviewing two Melton men, aged 48 and 37, and a 58-year-old Melton woman about the man's death.

A second woman was spoken to but not arrested.

The man's body was found at the home at 2.10am.

The four people were taken into police custody at 7am.
