A second motorcyclist has died on the NSW south coast in an accident, bringing the state's holiday road toll to four.

A second motorcyclist has died on the NSW south coast, just hours after a 50-year-old man died in another motorbike accident in the same area.

Emergency services discovered the male rider dead, and his female passenger with a broken arm, when they arrived at the southern end of Bellambi Beach about 8.30pm on Monday, police said.

The woman was taken to Wollongong Hospital, where she was treated and later released.

Early investigations suggest the rider may have fallen down a steep embankment.

About 5.40pm a 50-year-old man died after his motorbike and a car collided at Basin View, near Nowra.

A 43-year-old woman who was a passenger on the motorbike was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital with minor injuries where she is in a stable condition.

The 33-year-old male driver and 31-year-old female passenger of the car, both German nationals, also were taken to the same hospital suffering shock, police said.

The latest death brings the state's holiday road toll to four.
