Emergency crews are searching for a man who disappeared from a Queensland dance festival where two people died.

Bradley Smith, 37, wandered away from his campsite at the Rabbits Eat Lettuce festival near Warwick.

Police say he was reported missing on Tuesday night after failing to return to his home at Nanango.

Emergency crews spent Wednesday morning conducting ground and aerial sweeps of the area.

The festival hit headlines earlier this week after a 24-year-old Maleny man and a 22-year-old Nambour woman were found dead in their tent on Monday morning.

Police said the deaths were not suspicious but they were still investigating the cause.

A toxicology report was prepared for the coroner.
