Man sexually attacked in Melb toilet

A man has been sexually assaulted in a Melbourne public toilet by a man who then attempted a second attack a few weeks later.

A man was sexually assaulted in a Melbourne shopping centre's public toilet, as police continue a search for the attacker.

The victim, 23, went to the toilets on La Trobe Street about 4pm on February 6, when another man tried to push his way into the same cubicle - as the victim tried to leave the toilets, he was sexually assaulted.

A few weeks later on February 22 at 4.30pm, the victim saw the same man at the same shopping centre and was followed into the toilets, where the victim locked himself in a cubicle and called the police.

Police need the public's help looking for a man of Asian appearance, in his late 20s or early 30s, about 160cm, unshaven, who was wearing dark pants, a t-shirt and a back-pack at the time of the attacks.
