Man surrenders after Qld police siege

The police siege of a house at Woodridge, south of Brisbane, has ended after a man surrendered himself to officers.

A man has surrendered himself to police following a stand-off at a house in Woodridge, south of Brisbane.

A man armed with a gun was believed holed up in the house on Friday evening, prompting police to set up a 200-metre cordon around it and declare an emergency situation.

Police say the emergency situation was revoked at 10.55pm after a 25-year-old man surrendered to police.

No one was injured during the incident.
