A man has life threatening injuries after a terrifying abduction and torture ordeal involving a gang of attackers in the Queensland city of Bundaberg.

Police say a group of men confronted the victim and then savagely bashed him at a McMannie Street home about 8.20am (AEST) on Monday.

The 39-year-old was then forced into a vehicle and driven to a second location where he was tortured and bashed a second time.

Three men, two aged 35 and one aged 44, are facing charges of torture, grievous bodily harm, and deprivation of liberty.

The trio will face the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.
