A Brisbane man will face court after allegedly being part of a shooting on the city's northside before Christmas.

The 45-year-old from Beachmere is one of three men to be charged after the shooting at a Chermside unit, which left another man with a gunshot wound to his stomach.

The accused man is facing several charges including acts intending to maim, dangerous conduct with a weapon, extortion and burglary.

He is set to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday morning.

His alleged accomplices, aged 26 and 37, have already faced court on a variety of charges.

The 41-year-old victim was found by police after reports of a disturbance at the unit complex where he lives.

He was taken to hospital with his injuries described at the time as non-life threatening.
