Man wanted in Qld arrested in WA

A man who has been ordered to return to prison in Queensland has been arrested in WA's south and will be extradited.

A 33-year-old man wanted in Queensland will be extradited from West Australia after being arrested south of Perth.

Police visited a home in Carey Park, Bunbury on Wednesday to speak with the man, who they realised had a return to prison warrant issued for him in Queensland.

A West Australian Police spokeswoman said he would be extradited.

He has been remanded in custody in Perth.
