Manly have been fined $750,000 and will have $330,000 taken from their salary cap for this year and the 2019 season after the NRL found them guilty of salary cap breaches.

The NRL claims that the Sea Eagles promised more than $1.5 million in illegal payments during negotiations over the past five years.

The club will have $200,000 of their fine suspended and won't lose competition points, but the registrations of chief operating officer Neil Bare and now-Sydney Roosters chief executive Joe Kelly have been suspended for 12 months.
