Man's body found in NSW house fire

A body, believed to be that of a 68-year-old man, has been found in a house in Coolamon that went up in flames overnight.

The body of a man has been found in a NSW Riverina home that went up in flames overnight.

Fire crews were called to a home in Coolamon, near Wagga Wagga in the early hours of Thursday to find it well alight.

The home was destroyed in the blaze and investigators found a body in the ruins just before midday.

A post mortem examination will determine if it's that of the 68-year-old man who lived alone in the home.

Police say the house fire does not appear to be suspicious.
