Map your personality from Facebook

A new tool takes everything you post on Facebook and uses it to map your psychological traits.

They say social media is all navel-gazing, now Facebook users can map their personalities according to what they post.

A new tool from consumer technology start-up Five has developed an app that uses your Facebook posts to dissect your personal characteristics.

Users receive a visual "map" of their most prominent qualities, from inventive and easy going, to friendly and outgoing, based entirely on their public posts.

It also measures levels of other psychological quirks according to five personality traits: extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism, conscientousness and openness.

It even generates a list of their friends who share a similiar disposition as well as the maps of famous figures, like Barack Obama and Bill Gates.
