March to mark 100 years of NSW women cops

A street march will be held in central Sydney on Thursday to celebrate 100 years of women in NSW policing.

The 100th anniversary of female policing in NSW will be celebrated with more than 700 women officers marching in central Sydney on Thursday.

The policewomen will start their march at midday from outside Hyde Park Barracks on Macquarie Street.

It will finish at the Opera House with an official ceremony starting about 1pm.
