A royal commission will continue hearing evidence about how the Marist Brothers dealt with reports of child sexual abuse.
After two weeks of public hearings in Canberra earlier in June, the commission will resume in Sydney on Monday.
Alleged victims, school teachers and senior members of the Marist Brothers gave evidence in Canberra about their experiences with former brothers Gregory Sutton and John Chute, also known as Brother Kostka.
The pair have been convicted and jailed on numerous child sexual abuse offences during their careers as teachers throughout NSW, the ACT and Queensland from the late 1960s to early 1990s.
Both have been released from prison.
Some witnesses have outlined a culture of silence in the Marist Brothers where serious cases of misconduct were not reported to police and the teachers were reassigned to different schools.
