Maroons continue Origin prep

Queensland will hold a training session against a local club team ahead of the State of Origin finale.

Queensland will continue preparations for next week's State of Origin finale this afternoon when they hold an opposed training session against a local club team on the Gold Coast.

Halfback Cooper Cronk, continuing his recovery from a broken arm, will be hoping to come through the session against the Tweed Heads Seagulls without complications after training strongly yesterday.

Debutant Will Chambers will also be hoping to have a good outing as his preparations continue to be marred by allegations he assaulted a patron at a Brisbane nightclub earlier in the week.
