Masked men attack teens in Sydney

Six teenage boys have been attacked by a gang of men wearing balaclavas and armed with machetes and clubs in Sydney's west.

A gang of men wearing balaclavas and armed with machetes and clubs has attacked a group of teenagers in Sydney's west.

Police say the masked men approached six teenagers sitting in a parked car in Fairfield West about 10.30pm on Wednesday.

They assaulted the teenagers and damaged the car.

Two 18-year-olds have been treated for lacerations to their heads at Liverpool Hospital, while four others, aged between 16 and 18, sustained minor cuts and bruises.

Police were unable to locate the assailants after a search of the area.
