Jeremy McGovern is loving life at West Coast but has been tabled big-money offers by several Melbourne-based clubs, according to his manager Colin Young.
McGovern will be a restricted free agent at season's end, and reports have emerged that he's already been offered a six-year, $7 million deal by a Victorian club.
Young didn't reveal exact details about amounts, but said the figures being reported "aren't too far away" from what is actually being tabled.
And he said it wasn't just one Victorian club who have expressed their interest, with reports suggesting up to three teams are already in the hunt for McGovern.
That number could grow as the season progresses.
Young used the example of what a player like Richmond's Alex Rance might be worth on the open market when drawing comparisons to what McGovern might be worth.
"Rancey, I don't know what he's on, I'm using him as an example, his style of player might be worth between $1 million and $1.5 million now, so does Jeremy McGovern fit into that?" Young told SEN.
"He plays not dissimilar to Rancey.
"So if that helps you, there's certainly offers on the table and those figures aren't too far away."
Fremantle and Adelaide could be two other clubs keen to enter the race.
McGovern's father Andrew played 63 games at the Dockers, while his younger brother Mitch currently plays at the Crows.
Young said there were plenty of possibilities for McGovern, but that the two-time All-Australian was happy at West Coast.
"Jeremy does loves the coach, does loves the players, does love the club, so it's going to be a cautious decision whether he stays or go," Young said.
"At this moment, he's with the club for this year. He wants to have success."
West Coast coach Adam Simpson said McGovern was well aware of the benefits of staying at the club.
"We know he's an A-grade talent, he's a dual All Australian, so we're doing everything we can to try and keep him here," Simpson said.
"I don't think it's about the sell. He knows what we're about and what we're like."
Andrew Gaff will also become a restricted free agent at the end of the season, and the Victorian will be hotly pursued by Melbourne-based clubs if he hasn't re-signed with the Eagles.
West Coast will round out their pre-season campaign with a match against Fremantle in Joondalup on Sunday.
Star ruckman Nic Naitanui will make his long-awaited return from a knee reconstruction on Saturday when he lines up for WAFL side East Perth in their practice match against East Fremantle.
