A mother whose three children died after she drove her car into a Melbourne suburban lake is being interviewed over their deaths.

Homicide detectives went to the Wyndham Vale home of Akon Guode, 36, on Monday to speak to her about the April 8 deaths.

One-year-old Bol, his four-year-old sister Hanger and her twin brother Madit, died after being pulled from Lake Gladman after their car veered off a road and ploughed deep into the water.

Their five-year-old sister Awel and Ms Guode survived.

Ms Guode was interviewed by police soon after the crash but was released without charge as the investigation, with re-enactments of the incident, continued.

Ms Guode told her family she felt dizzy in the moments before the tragedy.

Hundreds of mourners gathered at St Andrews Catholic Church to farewell the children on April 18 before they were taken to the Werribee Cemetery where they were buried.

Ms Guode was physically supported as she cried outside the church.

Ms Guode, who had seven children, moved to Australia to escape the war in Sudan.
