A woman needing a kidney transplant is alive thanks to police who found her collapsed on the floor of her Melbourne home.
The officers were sent to the woman's Brunswick home 10 days ago when hospital staff couldn't reach her.
She's since been given a new kidney and is recovering in time for Christmas.
