According to AAP, more than a hundred mourners arrived at church on Monday morning to farewell Karen Ristevski, whose remains were found in country Victoria two weeks ago.

Friends and family laid dozens of floral tributes at the front of St John's Uniting Church in Essendon in memory of the 47-year-old Melbourne mother.

Her daughter, Sarah, led the procession out of the church holding a framed photograph of her mother, whilst her father, Borce, helped carry the coffin.

Ms Ristevski's body was found on February 20 in Mt Macedon bushland, almost eight months after her disappearance in June last year.
