Australian actress Melissa George and boyfriend Jean-David Blanc have welcomed their first child together.
The actress gave birth to baby boy Raphael Blanc in Paris, France.
George is over the moon to be a mother and tweeted about her newfound joy.
"Welcome to the world! Our beautiful son Raphael Blanc just born at the American Hospital of Paris. There are no words to describe the love," she tweeted on Monday.
George and Jean-David met at a BAFTA after-party in 2012.
The Australian star announced her pregnancy in August last year, and said having a baby was something she had dreamed about for years.
"This baby is very wanted and very much what we've been waiting for. It's no secret that I've always wanted to be a mother, and every time I had a birthday I would just be a little bit sad," she said.
"You don't mind clicking over another number when you've got something inside you, growing, that you've always dreamed about."
The 37-year-old also previously said she wanted the baby's name to work across both the French and Australian cultures.
"It's going to have a huge Australian influence and I want the name to work in my native country. But the baby has a French daddy so it's going to have to work there, too. There'll be lots of middle names!" she said.
The actress has starred in a number of US TV series since her role on Australian soap Home and Away, including Grey's Anatomy and The Good Wife.
George also starred in the acclaimed ABC TV series The Slap.
