Australian singer/songwriter Daniel Merriweather was among the Victorian residents evacuated as fires swept through the state over the weekend.
Firefighters have been battling numerous wild fires amid soaring summer temperatures, and Merriweather was caught up in the chaos on Sunday.
The singer took to Twitter to tell fans he'd been evacuated along with other residents of Melbourne suburb Warrandyte, which has been devastated by a series of blazes.
"Just got evacuated" before uploading a picture of the neighbourhood blaze, adding, "The Warrandyte fire in full effect... Be safe people!"
The current outbreak of fires has been described as Australia's most serious since 2009's Black Saturday bushfires, which killed 173 people.
