Meth lab found near Coffs Harbour

A man has been charged with manufacturing a prohibited drug after a police search at a Toormina property on the NSW north coast.

A 32-year-old man is facing drugs charges after a clandestine drug lab was found near Coffs Harbour on the NSW north coast.

The man was charged with manufacturing a prohibited drug after officers carried out a search at a home in Toormina on Friday.

Police say they seized numerous precursor chemicals associated with making methylamphetamine, as well as equipment and drug paraphernalia.

The man has been refused bail, and is due to appear before Coffs Harbour Local Court on Saturday.
