Mexico lose 1-0 to Croatia, Araujo suffers injury

With the World Cup finals just three months away, the injury to Araujo could be a big blow for the Mexicans, who will face Germany, Sweden and South Korea at the tournament in Russia.

Araujo was challenging Ante Rebic when he appeared to get his leg caught underneath the Croatian player.

Ivan Rakitic scored the only goal from the penalty spot in the 62nd minute. Mexico, who beat Iceland 3-0 on Friday, handed a 100th cap to striker Javier Hernandez.
