Michelle Fairley replaces Judy Davis in 24

Michelle Fairley, star of Games of Thrones, will replace Judy Davis in the new 24 series after the Australian actress pulled out due to personal issues.

Game of Thrones actress Michelle Fairley has been tapped to replace Australian Judy Davis in the new 24 series.

Davis dropped out of the show last week due to personal issues.

Producers set out to recast her part quickly.

Fairley will take over the role and portray the widow of a terrorist in 24: Live Another Day, which will premiere in the US in May.

The series is currently filming in London.
