Miley Cyrus will rue twerking: Church

Twerk-obssessd singer Miley Cyrus will be embarrassed by her outrageous antics when she grows up and moves on, fellow child star Charlotte Church says.

Former child star Charlotte Church predicts Miley Cyrus will be ashamed of her twerking antics when she looks back on her career.

The Welsh singer shot to stardom at the age of 12, but struggled with her high profile during her teenage years and eventually decided to step away from the limelight and release records on her own label instead.

Church has kept a close eye on Cyrus - who found fame aged 11 with her role in the US TV show Hannah Montana - and she is convinced the 21 year old's recent outrageous image overhaul and sexy onstage antics will leave her red-faced once she moves on.

Church has told the British The Times newspaper: "She was even younger than I was when she became well-known and it's never gone away from her. I was able at some points to get away from it and also I come from a really normal family, really working class. She was a child star and her father's famous.

"To have perspective is a difficult thing when you've had a really unusual upbringing. So she's not necessarily making decisions that she will always be proud of, or uphold."
