Don't be surprised if Brisbane recruit Anthony Milford takes to the field against St George Illawarra on Friday night with square eyes.
The youngster admits he'll be poring over footage of in-form Dragons halves Benji Marshall and Gareth Widdop in a bid to nullify the pair in their NRL clash.
Marshall was at his magical best for the Dragons in last weekend's clinical win over Canterbury, the red V's fourth-straight after losses in their opening two fixtures.
The 30-year-old New Zealander had a hand in at least two tries and slotted a field goal as the Dragons held off an early Bulldogs onslaught before racing away to a 31-6 win.
Englishman Widdop was also effective, his kicking game nearly creating another Dragons try while the former Melbourne playmaker converted every one of the Dragons' five tries.
It all means plenty of time in front of the TV screen for Milford and his halves partner Ben Hunt.
"We're going to try and watch plenty of video of Benji and Gareth and how they lead their forward pack around the park," Milford said.
"It'll be a good challenge for me and Benny and we've got to put our best foot forward and try and do the job."
After coming in for some media criticism for a lack of impact since his off-season move from Canberra, Milford admits he's settling into life as a Bronco, especially with the club hitting the top of the competition ladder after five straight wins.
"I'm feeling more comfortable now and the boys are making me feel comfortable and confident in myself," he said.
"It's helping me out and that's showing on the field."
