No player has run the ball for more metres in an NRL season than Sydney Roosters fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has in 2015, but even he admits Anthony Milford's running game is keeping him on his toes.
The Brisbane five-eighth has enjoyed a stellar first season at Red Hill, where he has been a revelation partnering Ben Hunt at the scrumbase.
The Tricolours have split their two games against the Broncos in 2014 and Tuivasa-Sheck rated the electrifying playmaker as one of his toughest assignment of the year.
"(Melbourne halfback) Cooper Cronk; he scares me with his kicking game. But Anthony scares me with his running game and his passing game, which is what he's worked on heaps," Tuivasa-Sheck told AAP.
"I'm always trying to get my defensive line sorted out, but if he runs a lot, it'll be dangerous."
Tuivasa-Sheck revealed the side had heavily studied up on Milford in the lead-up to their round 24 clash, when the Roosters limited the Broncos pivot and recorded a tense 12-10 win.
The Kiwis representative credited their shutdown of Milford to identifying his hot spots on the field.
"I remember we did our video and they scored two tries, all from breaking the line through offloads," he said.
Asked how his teammates were able to limit Milford's impact that night, he said: "We just asked our middle to work hard and pressure them from the inside.
"And when you tackle him, you have to hold him.
"They're dangerous when that middle gets a roll on and Anthony Milford and Ben Hunt start running."
Bound for the Warriors at the end of the season, the 22-year-old Tuivasa-Sheck said he was also beginning to get emotional over his eventual departure from Moore Park.
"I feel it more during training, that these are the last days, so I come in an hour early just to see everyone," he said.
"But I know we have a job to do, so I use that all as motivation to do the best I can."
