Maverick Queensland Labor MP Jo-Ann Miller has apologised in parliament for "incorrect statements" she made accusing the deputy premier of ignoring allegations of local council corruption.
Ms Miller in May accused Jackie Trad of disregarding "hundreds of complaints" about Ipswich City Council when she was the local government minister between 2015 and 2017.
But Ms Trad later said the 326 alleged complaints were actually just three and all were referred to the state's corruption watchdog.
The Member for Bundamba's claims followed similar comments by Opposition Leader Deb Frecklington, Deputy Leader Tim Mander and education spokesman Jarrod Bleijie.
The Liberal National Party trio later apologised to the parliament, but it took Ms Miller until Tuesday.
Ms Trad had formally requested Ms Miller and the three opposition MPs be referred to the ethics committee for misleading parliament.
But following the rogue backbencher's apology, Speaker Curtis Pitt said he would no longer progress the matter.
