Miller crashes out of Italian Moto3 GP

Australian Jack Miller has failed to finish the Italian Moto3 Grand Prix, crashing on the final lap of a race won by Italian Romano Fenati.

A last-lap crash at the Italian Grand Prix has resulted in Australian Jack Miller's Moto3 championship lead being cut significantly.

The Red Bull KTM Ajo rider failed to finish after tangling with Alex Marquez and Enea Bastianini on the Mugello track on Sunday in a race won by Italian teenager Romano Fenati.

Miller failed to bank any points as Fenati closed to within five points on the overall standings after six races.

Fenati (KTM) clocked 39min 46.256sec to finished just 0.01sec ahead of Isaac Vinales (KTM) with Spanish compatriot Alex Rins (Honda) third by virtue of a faster best lap as they crossed the line together.
