The Fair Work Ombudsman is calling on thousands of people to collect unclaimed wages from previous jobs worth nearly $3 million.
It has recovered money for 9500 people who are unable to be located.
Many people may have left jobs before they became aware of the pay shortfall says the Ombudsman.
