A six-under-par 66 in the fourth round of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament has all but secured teenager Minjee Lee's place on the US Tour in 2015.

With so much on the line, Q-School is known for being a pressure cooker week - but not for Lee, who is thriving in the high-stakes atmosphere.

The Australian started her round on fire, collecting five birdies on the front nine to go out in 31.

Another two birdies before her only blemish in her superb round on the last hole left Lee at 11 under for the tournament and outright third heading into the fifth and final round at the LPGA International Golf Club.

Providing the talented WA golfer can have a steady final round, Lee should finish in the top 20 and secure her full card for the 2015 LPGA season.

Ha Na Jang leads qualifying at 15 under following rounds of 74, 65, 66 and 68, with Spain's Maria Hernandez second three shots back.

The next best Australian is NSW's Emma de Groot, who posted a two-under 70 to be at two-under for the tournament to move up into a share of 38th position.

Players who finish in 21st to 45th will receive a conditional card for 2015.

Two other Australians, Victorian Su Oh (75) and Jayde Panos (72), finished right on the cut number of two over par and will tee it up in the fifth and final round still with a chance to secure a conditional card for 2015.

But NSW's Rebecca Artis missed the cut by one stroke after a 71 on Saturday, while compatriots Breanna Elliott (+4), Julia Boland (+6), Stacey Keating (+11) and Maggie Yuan (+12) all missed out.
