Australia's Queen of Pop Kylie Minogue has publicly congratulated Samantha Jade for her role in the INXS telemovie.
The first half of the two-part drama about the Aussie rock band was the top rating TV show when it aired on Network 7 on Sunday night.
Jade, 26, makes her acting debut as a younger Minogue in the TV movie. Minogue dated INXS frontman Michael Hutchence in the late `80s.
The 2012 X Factor winner has now received the ultimate accolade for her portrayal of Minogue: a tweet from Minogue herself.
Minogue also passed on her best wishes to Jade's sick mum.
"Congrats on your acting debut. I'm not in Oz :( but can feel the excitement! More importantly sending love to your Mummy," Minogue tweeted.
Jade revealed on Sunday that her mum is very ill and asked fans, via Twitter, to pray for her recovery.
"Asking for everyone to send positivity and love to my precious mummy right now. She's extremely unwell and we are praying hard Thank You X" Jade wrote.
INXS Never Tear Us Apart will conclude on Sunday, February 16.
